how to set rns510 to a set volume at start up?

as above,would like it to stay at volume level when car was turned off. at present when car starts it is very soft and i have to turn it up everytime i start the car.any ideas?
i tried the manual but to no avail.

go through the menus in the unit There are pages that allow you to set volume for various situations.

Cant remember which menu and cant look as am about 10,000 km away from car ATM

I think you press the Tone button on the unit and its in that menu going from (sleep deprived) memory?

thanks for that but i have tried that.there is a bit that says startup volume but so far it hasnt worked,will give it another go

I think you are correct now I think about it. I did it and set it too high and it nearly blew me out the door.

There are several volume controls and are a bit obscure on what they do and how they actually affect things.
