    Looking for faulty rns-510

    Hi,

    Sorry, if I am in wrong section. I am looking for someone who has fault rns-510 but with working dvd drive. I just need dvd drive because mine gone. Of course, we can make deal regarding price.

    You can buy the dvd drive if the board isn't the problem. I bought some to repair the radios but the supplier was dodgy. I ended up having to fix the drives before I used them

      Everthing works fine except dvd drive. I beleive that damaged while transported ...how you fixed dvd drives?

        One was twisted and was scratching discs one had a head misalignment, one was fried fro trying to install an ssd. The misalignment and twisted drive were just getting things right. There were a couple of models of drives used. the newer drive is an M5

            You can buy them from carsystems.pl. Shipping is a bit of a hit though for just a drive.
            Otherwise try your luck on ebay.
