ok I think I understand sorry iam new to this
I got the maps and poi from the navteq link you shared..then copied them to primo2-content-maps and poi folders....is this correct?
The one I linked 2 posts above is the best Ive found so far. It is also ccd and has a color display at night. Resolution and pic is very clear and more than enough for the 8" screen. It does have a set of distance lines but they match the ones in the ANS 810.
Ive also been fitting these and they are an easier fit as they just swap out for a number plate light. CCD Reverse Camera FOR VW Beetle Passat Golf Polo Jetta Phaeton Skoda Superb | eBay $18
Pic is preety good as well.
How easy are these to install? I might attempt it when I have some free time, I'm guessing running the av cable from the ANS to the rear bumper will be the hardest part, does the camera require power? Cheers
I'm not sure about USB 3G capabilities but I don't think the unit currently supports it - however it does stream music via BT fine so you can listen to internet radio that way, a customer of mine does this and says it works well.......
Just run camera wires along and under left door sill trims etc.
Power can be picked up off ANS or wired to cig lighter etc depending on model.
Rev signal is supplied by later units. Early ones you run a trigger wire from rev light.
Dash isn't too hard to open. Plenty of tips on VW forums.

Just to confirm (since i'll be doing this when I get my DNS), the units have both video in for the RVC, a reverse signal wire and you can easily tap off the 12V supply line for it too? So when you pull the wires up to the front you'd have Video, Power and Reverse wires? As opposed to tapping off power and the reverse signal from the rear lights, and just bringing video up to the front?

Will the Bluetooth voice audio (push microphone on steering wheel. snd say call dan) will this still work with the Ans 810
There is no voice control for the DNS unit so that wouldn't work. However you can use the DNS (not ANS) unit has memory bank like the RNS-510 so you can push your phone button on the steering wheel and just press one of the 6 available memory banks.

The unit has the power wire that the camera needs, which switches on only in reverse, as well as the video input. You don't need to tap any 12V supplies except the one to power the actual LED with (not the camera). On some licence plate style cameras, like the one for Golf 6, there is no LED and instead there is a compartment to fit the OEM bulb inside so you don't even need to do that - you can leave the OEM bulb and its connection intact.

Groovy, cheers

Without any luck still the same problem.
Can the problem bee that something did go wrong when i updated the mpeg?
Do you have any suggestions for what I can do?
Hi Martin Thiesen
I have the same problem with my ANS510. I think i have installed a bad version that i found on the internet. A part of this update is done by media slot (MPEG) named ANS510AS.XF14. I contact audiosources to have the latest version of my ANS510, I done it but i have the same problem. media sdcard, CD/DVD and USB port doesn't work. In the update that i had from audiosources there is no ANS510AS.XF14 just the BSP, MPU and MCU.
Did you found a solution,
Dkn can you help me please

I have an ANS-610 and only just noticed after the last firmware update that the graphic on the touch screen to indicate which door is open is reversed. It appears to be set for LHD vehicles as when I open the driver's side door, it shows the passenger's side door as open. How do I set it for RHD vehicles?
