I'll try mate but if you ended up flashing the wrong firmware on it, I'm not sure if it's possible to fix it. Check your PM.

Interesting adapter - that looks like it would work. Although, what is the idea behind using it? The audio might work but music ID3 tag display wouldn't. If the USB is just there for charging, then the same thing can be achieved by using the normal USB cable provided with the unit, and then using a normal 3.5mm from the Aux-In slot, or just BT stream.

Dkn thanks for all your help i flash new firmware i have a screenshot from before with version of bt so that was not a problem, the unit has power up and everything is working great. Thanks for firmware i hope that in future there will be a lot of firmware realeses.

In your first post, it mentions "A DAB+ solution is being worked on and I will update everyone when this is available - this should solve all radio signal issues." Does this mean that the units will be compatible with just a software update, or is there hardware involved also? If it is just software I will be ordering one upon your return in December!

It will require new hardware, I'm not sure if it will be available as an add-on module or not, but my guess is leaning towards not at this stage.

Hi, just bought a brand new ans510 for my jetta..installed and all, but the microphone for the handsfree bluetooth doesnt work properly..i can hear what they are saying, but they cant hear me. Does anyone else have this issue?

Ok, don't get offended by this, but have you made sure that the phone is actually using the ANS510 as the microphone device?

Nothing to get offended about . After pairing my phone to the unit, i tryed to make a call, and ón the phone display it shows ans510 with a speaker on front of it. So im shure is connected to the unit..

Heads up guys, in contrast to what I said a while back that the unit may require new hardware, 3G internet browsing is coming to the next firmware release

Will require using a 3G USB modem, of course.

Oh thats cool.. but what be cooler is if it would support a WIFI usb stick and would then use internet from our tethered phones...

You can pretty much already do this via bluetooth, I stream live internet radio from my phone most days using BT.
