I think you will find that it happens the second time you open a door when the nav is running, the first open and close works as expected. I have already reported this issue. Rather than rebooting, for now just go back to your music screen and open then close the door, this will reset it.

Sure, actually along with the AC display (you wouldn't have that since you don't have mk6) it makes sense to have them as user options. I will make the suggestion.TR 08 Golf GT TDI, Custom Code Phase 1, Milltek Exhaust, Whiteline RSB + ALK, APR Carbonio Intake

yeah well the stay in reverse graphic... its happened a couple times.. and yeah drive forward, back, etc can fix it... but its kinda annoying when you've started driving and its stuck on there..... i dont want to have to always get in a mindset to check that it has dissapeared before driving...
also i am not a massive fan of it turning off the audio when you reverse... again, more user options would help those who want different features...

Suggestions / bugs are now left with my technician.
Re the reverse screen, it has only happened to me once and as a matter of fact if you wait until the unit begins booting before you switch to reverse, the reverse screen should not show at all if you don't have a reverse camera because the unit will detect that there is no signal.TR 08 Golf GT TDI, Custom Code Phase 1, Milltek Exhaust, Whiteline RSB + ALK, APR Carbonio Intake

Hello all, greeting from the UK. I've come in desperation as I am pulling my hair out trying to fix some issues with my new ANS810 unit received yesterday and hoping one of you knid people can help me out as this seems to be the only English source of information regarding 510/810 units on the net. My problem is that I cannot get the unit to start the supplied primo navigation software, I have correctly gone through Setup menu and Set GPS path by browsing to the primo.exe file on the supplied SD card. When attempting to stat Navi, I receive a popup message along the lines of "The application did not start correctly the last time it was run. Do you want to loose your POI settings (or some words to that effect). I've tried responding with both Yes and No and the Navi software still fails to start. I've checked contents of SD card and everything appears to be present, perrhaps a sys.txt config error is causing this? Does anybody have any suggestions? Whilst my priority is to get the navigation software working,my UK supplier seems to have zero knowledge of supporting these deveices so I'm pretty mush left to trawling the net for any snippet of useful information, can anybody provide info on how to receive any Firmware updates for the device?
Many thanks in advance.

If it used to work, try just renaming your sys.txt to sys.old, and rename your Primo/save folder.
Then when you restart it should be 'from factory'.
If it still fails to start its possible that there is a problem with the SDcard perhaps and maybe some of the files are corrupt or unreadable.
I'm sure DkN will be able to point you in the right direction as far as firmware is concerned.
gpsunderground forums are a good source of info on iGo Primo should you need to look more closely just at that.2011 Skoda Octavia vRS TDI DSG wagon|Revo Stage 1|Race Blue|Leather|Dynamic Xenons w 6000K|9w7 BT|THA475 Amp+active sub|Whiteline ALK|RVC|

Has anyone a working copy of sys.txt for ANS510/810 as I would like to rule this out initially.
Thanks again.

Ah, if its never worked then sounds like the install may be borked.
The current release of iGo Primo doesn't need a sys.txt at all on most units.
It will configure itself on startup.
Unfortunately as you are not using a licensed copy of the software you can't get help from iGo. gpsunderground forums will be your best bet. Make a copy of the contents of your card, then install a new version of the software to it and copy the map files back to the sdcard once its installed. Make sure you delete any sys.txt or save folder that may be included in the download.2011 Skoda Octavia vRS TDI DSG wagon|Revo Stage 1|Race Blue|Leather|Dynamic Xenons w 6000K|9w7 BT|THA475 Amp+active sub|Whiteline ALK|RVC|

Your best bet at this stage is to find a different version of Primo to install, something seems wrong with your supplied version and it's difficult to say what exactly. Can you confirm that you have tried deleting / renaming both the save folder and the original sys.txt on your SD card though, before you go hunting? Also try adding these lines to your original sys.txt file (after deleting / renaming the save folder of course):

autoconfig=1
highres=1TR 08 Golf GT TDI, Custom Code Phase 1, Milltek Exhaust, Whiteline RSB + ALK, APR Carbonio Intake

Just on the subject of firmware updates, are there any links for instructions/downloads anywhere as it seems my UK supplier is not interested now he has my cash. Just keen to watch and keep up with future enhancements of this unit.
Thanks again, great thread by the way.

You should have the latest firmware since you just purchased it, and I if you can't get firmware elsewhere I can certainly give you a link.
Honestly, if your local dealer is offering no support you would have better off buying direct from Audiosources, their customer service is much better now and all of their salespeople have basic technical knowledge of the units and are given access to the latest firmware links. I get the feeling they know a lot more about your unit than your dealer.TR 08 Golf GT TDI, Custom Code Phase 1, Milltek Exhaust, Whiteline RSB + ALK, APR Carbonio Intake
