  • Latest version D or F for RNS510???

Ok so I'm in the market for a RNS510 and I've been looking on ebay. My question is whats the latest version D or F. There doesn't seem to be to many version F's or even D's around a lot of C's though

Wow... and here I am stuck with this crappy F unit... which was manufactured 06/11.

Is there any information on what the different versions are and if they are specific to different regions? or models? etc etc

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

LED started with C units with the star button.

AFAIK, absolutely no difference between the later units, other than the promise of faster processor which you have no real way of confirming.

Just go with the one that suits your budget.

ok so I have a "H" unit coming.

Does anyone know if I will have to recode any of it. I have a MY11 GTI with bluetooth, or is this going to be a plug and play?

How'd you go with install mate - looking to purcahse an RNS this week to install over the weekend, i'll be replacing the RCD 510 and BT already fitted so am hoping it will pretty much be a case of plug and play - with a bit of fiddling around.

                      Any suggestions?
