    Sound advice, that's exactly what I'm going to do although I'm looking at a JVC for around $350 and a steering wheel module for around $50. $400 all up with Bluetooth and iPod integration, that's really all that's needed and a hell of a lot better than what's already there

      It's a no brainer, especially seeing as a Subaru doesn't have any functionality loss unlike the golfs. Which is the only reason I kept my rcd in the gti but upgraded speakers and amp. My brothers hilux, he went and upgraded hu amp deadening and speakers.
      Which is what I think u should do as well, unfortunately the oz dollar has fallen somewhat which makes buying from the USA less attractive but it's better than local nonetheless.
