RNS510 Map disc ?

I happen to have the newest rnd-510 map disks, they are version 4.1 all genuine. pm if interested.

Warning i received an private message with a link to the V4.1 free down load from GASB ?
After down loading it i insertedd it into my RNS 510 and this message came up ?
NEW NAVIGATION DVD STOPS THE ROUTE GUIDANCE AND ENDS DESTINATION ENTRY .
Now don't know if this was meantent to damage my GPS or it was a fault in burning the disc but it was a straight down load and burn
Has any Else contacted GASB?

the message you saw on the screen is a general notification that the disc you have just inserted is a more recent version than the data you have on your RNS. Select "continue (or whaterver the option is) and allow the disc to update your RNS. Used the same link this morning....all good. Map works fine.

My dealer replaced my original MFD2 DVD system three weeks ago with a new RNS510 unit. This at no cost to me!
They installed the nav database (V4.1) to the HDD and handed me the DVD disk, with recovery PIN in case I should need to reload at any time. I would think this approach is required and could be insisted upon.

Heres hoping this thread is still active? Anybody know if I could buy a RNS510 from UK or US and download the latest maps over the top? Please PM if you can share the latest maps.

Euro RNS are fine.
USA RNS have different radio specs/protocols and will be useless in Australia, irrespective if you run Aus maps or not.

Boys and gals! I just bought a rns510 from eBay! Hoping someone can hook a brother up with some maps????

If you just bought it off Ebay ,why aren't the maps already installed ? you should of bought one with the Australians maps ,there are heaps on Ebay ?

hi guys I'm also looking for a v4.1 map. I do not wish to buy the suspect one on ebay which is pickup / bank transfer one only. Does anyone have one for sale? Thanks
