Which firmware for my RNS510?

I'm on 2660. I have a Skoda Bluetooth 1Z0035729B. i notice all of the entries after 2660 have a warning about the bluetooth. Have people had any success or is it definitely not going to work?

Do the newer versions change the screen colours or anything? There seems to be scant information about what the changes actually deliver.

Added 3810 and now wife says that about every 4 minutes the radio stops working!!

Any ideas??

Reloaded the software with 3810 and the radio still switches off after about 6 or so minutes. Have had the radio lock up and also lose volume control. To fix it I had to disconnect the battery.

Ive tried to downgraded but with no success.

Can anyone help with the procedure to down graded and which is the most stable version to use?? I gather it is in the 2*** ranged of firmware!

I have now put the very latest beta on their and if this fails me hopefully the unit will allow me to down grade to 2760!!

I will leave the latest 3970 on there until tomorrow as I cant handle another hour of waiting.

I gather the downgrade button in the secret menu works without a hitch??? Im currently downloading 2760

2760 now installed and problems have gone away!!

Now how do I change the colours???

I want to upgrade my firmware as well, but no VAGCOM and no pc, just a mac... I downloaded and burned the DVD at recommended speed, however still not working...

i use mac but you must burn the data as a disk image and it will work fine

The upgrade was a success, I did it through an image burn...

A few of the settings has returned to normal, however, as far as I can see there is nothing wrong....

HOWEVER, the main reason for my upgrade was to play SD card... as I have bought a 8gb SD card, I've never played the SD card on my system before, so i'm not sure if it is the card? or the system... I upgrade the firmware, however still can't play SD card, i think it is not recognising the card at all, no error message, just not reading the card...

So i'm not sure what is wrong... here are some info (after pressing and holding the setup button)...

Delivery port number - 1T0035680C
HW-Version - H03
SW-Version - 2760
SV SW-Version - C_EU9.242_t520
HW Vehicle - 0xC201

Could it be the card?? format??

Probably file format!

See if you're using FAT or FAT32.

hi you will need vagcom (ross-tech) cable and go into the computer to change colour , let me know if you need the exact info i will dig it out i just cant think of it off my head as of now !
