I am 17 and Within the last year i have acquired a V5 Bora in great condition; i am really loving the car especially being my first.

i just had a few questions:

can anyone recommend a head unit from $150 - $300 AUD
And a place to get said Head Unit installed

Awesome first ride John. NSW is a big state so it might pay to provide your location for your stereo installer; if it's not a custom install it's not a particularly specialised job.

I've always been a big fan of Pioneer Head Units, and would look to eBay USA with the currency conversion being so favourable, I'd imaging you could pick up a decent quality unit these days in your price range.

I am a big Pioneer fan too, although last time around I found that to get 2 sets of RCA output + iPod + bluetooth in Pioneer was ~$800 vs the JVC unit I ended up with for ~$250. Yes it is clearly a much cheaper head unit but then features/$ it was miles ahead.

I *highly* recommend to everyone replacing the head unit to spring for the bluetooth version. Handsfree is just magic, even if you are only driving short distances it's well worth having.

We truly get ripped here. I can't recall the DIN size of the Bora's head unit, but there are a few available in various sizes.
