Thanks for the quick response. Once I have the car and the RNS510 I'll see if there is someone local that would be willing to help with the coding. I'm not sure buying the cable&licence for a one off change is worth the cost.

Guys, I bought a RNS 510 version D LED from the Lithuania guy, and it says the video in motion is activated. However I just tried it with a DVD and it didn't work once I drive past 10km/h. How did you guys fare with the video in motion?

I left it. No real benefit to having it on while driving.

Maybe try driving somewhere interesting. Oh wait... You live in Brisbane :-p

On a more serious note, I think vagcom recoding is required if you want to do this. The mygti website may have details if it's not already in this forum somewhere.

Did exactly the same, unit arrived today. How did your experience go? There seems to be very little, if any, information about the version D units. I'm still apprehensive about doing the install on a car I only just picked up yesterday.. Replacing an RCD-310.

Was your unit coded for Dynaudio? I haven't got my hands on a VCDS cable yet so I hope to run mine without the coding until I can either find a local with a cable or I find a way to justify the purchase.

They will work withouit the vagcable, youi may or may not get the nav directions in the MFD. Mine worked faultlessly besides this, but I got the techies to update/fix that while it was in for service.

                    Hey Guys,

Just read all 6 pages and seemed to cover most questions I had about getting a unit from OS. Just a couple though, where has everyone installed the antenna?

Also can you guy PM me your contact on ebay?
