The higher the rating of the amp, the less gain you have to use to get a normal level, threfor the amp has to do less work, and you get a cleaner signal. If i could afford it, i'd give every speaker 500w rms.

Power isnt the only thing either. Higher grade amps offer better signal quality, which gives out better sound quality. You would notice a biiiig difference upgrading!
Big amps running lazy is also better then little amps revving their balls off!1996 Golf VR6 Colour Concept Green

ive got some 4way pioneer 6x9's in the "modded parcel shelf". some 5.5 boss speakers in the front doors with i suspect stock splits in the dash. pioneer cd/mp3 player head deck. got a good deal from jbhifi on the pioneer stuff.. the rest was already in the car
thinking a tiny sub in the back in the future.. altho i would much rather mod my 5.1 pc speakers and put that setup in there.. they're used in all the EBgames shops in newy.. possibly nationwide. (altho they turn the bass up too much)
ayden did most of the work with the headdeck and 6x9's.. cheers again for that!2.0L 6 Speed Mk3 2015 Skoda Octavia vRS 220 Wagon - Current
