V3 Maps available this week

If I had V2, I would not bother paying $500+ for only a few roads extra that I would use (If any).

It said for instance, In NSW it has added the Lane Cove tunnel, at which point, i'll know where I am (for $500 I better!).

Yeah you can get complete and more advance (whole) units for that much.

But still its great having it on there I just wouldnt do the upgrade. Save the cash for the MK7!!!!

There's no point complaining too much, i'd still prefer it even with V2 maps than having a portable unit hanging off the windscreen with charger cables going everywhere as well as blocking your view. It's a lot cheaper than the Audi equivalent and the small screen you get in Mazda so don't see what the problem is, especially considering you can get them as cheap as $1100-2k from ebay & europe. A lot of the portable Nav's aren't very good until you buy a decent model anyway, and you can't beat the integration of the RNS510. I have used a lot worse ones.

I personally like the maps. It's pretty fast in my eyes (coming from a Tom Tom). The only thing I would really like to have is red light/speed camera locations. But then again, we should all be paying attention as we drive =)

And apparently it is a DVD player as well with SD slot to replay my basketball games on!!

That's right, people forget it's a DVD player and media centre.
