  • Clarion FZ409A in T5

Ok, I finally replaced standard radio in my T5 with Clarion FZ409A but after plugging in the 2 ISO connectors radio is powered even when I take ignition key out. Another set back is that antenna connector is different and I can't play radio yet. Do you guys have any idea where to get the right antenna adapter (Idon't want to cut the original connector).

Well, the unit is working properly now. The wire no.4 and no.7 at no. 2 black connector needed to be swapped, but still needs antenna adapter.

      Transporter,
Can't help with the antenna adapter unfortunately.
I just replaced the head end in my T5 with a Kenwood, and everything worked fine with the exception of the AM radio, as company fitting the unit said that the antenna needed power, and there was no way that they could see to get power to it. The FM works fine, so I don't know what the difference is. There was some comment that the antenna was Can-bus
I think the easiest way to fix the issue for my installation may be to install a new antenna. Hope yours is different, but I think we both have the same model and year T5.

It is working now I didn't try radio on AM, will check it today. I got the adapter from Jaycar store. Here is the detail of the connector it's almost plug in with only 2 wires swap and one to cut and insulate. Details of the connector here.
