  • A better way to tie my sub down...

Currently my sub box is tied in place with a few taekwondo belts, what have others used instead? It's not a bad setup, although better speakers in the back doors and a bigger amp to power them would be a bonus... maybe some dynomat too...

    X001 iPod deck

    Alpine Type R split tweeters...

    Type R Bass split

Old JBL 3-ways powered off the deck in the back doors..

    The Alpine amp...

    The problem...

The perfect solution to your sub mouting issues:

I should really take another photo since I have tidied up the wiring...

Anyway, thread from the build is here, once again, great work by Louis!

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

as the hawk showed, that is what you should do, you will be able to use the factory 4 mounting points from where the CD shuttle would normally have been.

Also HitmanR32 what is wrong with mulberry?
That is an awesome colour for a VR6.

I wouldn't call my music Doof Doof, but I can tell you a little bass can make the music sound better. I really missed my sub in the few days the box was being built. It's very possible to enjoy a sub without letting the world know you have one. It's about that little volume switch, the secret is not to turn it to the point where the people in Germany can actually hear the music

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

That's really not going to hold... I'll probably just get one of them fiberglass boxes.
