VCDS scanning help in Melbourne's East

Hi Guys, although I've posted in the thread for people with cables and willing to help, I haven't had a reply from the people I've PM'ed and I'd really like to set something up for this weekend. I'm replacing the rcd500 in my 08 gti to a 510 and need to know what revision canbus I have. If its late enough, I can have you code it at a later time, or if I need a replacement then I can get one and we can sort it out later. Willing to compensate of course, maybe money or booze. I'm located in the ringwood area but could travel a bit to meet you if I need to. Cheers.

I am happy to help people but I am located in Orange. I personally think a cable is as important an accessory as a spare tyre. Mine lives in the drawer under the front seat.
