Anyone in the Newcastle area with VCDS or OBDEleven that can help me to turn off a warning chime on my 2015 Audi SQ5. Tried doing it with Carista and although i could make other changes, i cant turn of this annoying warning chime without something more powerful.

Happy to pay you with a 6 pack of your favourite beer/cider etc.

Shouldn't take more than 5-10mins as i have already researched the coding that needs to be altered.

Im in Newcastle and have both Carista and VCDS. Note that the error you have is a faulty intake manifold flap on the TDI 4 cylinder engine. I can clear the error but it will come back (sometimes within minutes or at times it can take hours/days/weeks) unless you actually fix the issue.Originally posted by Bettle69er View PostHi - Am wondering if you can disable a P2015 error on a Audi A3, am happy to pay

You could buy an expensive new part from Audi, or several companies like Dieselgeek (and now there are cheaper Chinese copies of the Dieselgeek part) have a part that you install to fix the issue.

VCDS will be able to do an output test and adaptation to ensure the little manifold flap motor is working etc, but these normally fail because as they wear out the flap moves too far and then gets stuck. The “fix” is to install that metal bracket which stops the flap from being able to move past the point of no return.Originally posted by Bettle69er View PostHi Lucas, Thanx for reply my mechanic tells my that VCDS can disable the - not just clear

I very much doubt you will be able to fix this code for good without installing the part. Im happy to clear the code for you but no doubt it will come back.
