  • New Battery coding help.

Had to replace my battery (2016 Octavia VRS)

What coding do I need to do in what modules.

Did a search but they all come up quoting other post but no working links.

i believe there r four channels under the [CAN Gateway 19], [Adaptions-10] using VCDS.

    (1)-Battery adaptation-Rated battery capacity
    (2)-Battery adaptation-Battery technology
    (3)-Battery adaptation-Battery manufacturer
    (4)-Battery adaptation-Battery Serial Number

Thanks guys. That should get me sorted. I just got the factory Varta replacement. Mine had a MOLL branded EFB batt. Seems I got the Chinese version from the factory. Only lastEd 3 years and I don’t use stop/start

Yeah that's not a great amount of time, especially so if you don't use the stop/start function. New Varta should last a few years longer.
