Custom tune or APR for K04 gti

I'm going to upgrade K04 for my mk6 gti.
I get a quote of $1700 for just the k04 tune. And only make 300 whp.
And I've heard that custom tune can get me to over 330 whp. And I think it could be cheaper. And with a dyno proof that what power my car actually make.
What's your suggestion and do you have any tuner recommended?

The guys from Underground performance can likely sort you out with a customised tune. Or try Tarmac Engineering. Both will be cheaper than APR.
