    Removing middle resonator on gti

Hi guys love to upgrade my exhaust but due to new baby that's on hold for a little while. question if I remove the middle resonator how much louder will this make the exhaust? I want to get a Dumppipe at some point what will happen noise wise then??

    Thanks

I would buy someone else's 2nd hand stock catback if you want to experiment with removing the resonator. 2nd hand catback's will only cost you $50-100 and then probably $100 max to have the resonator cut out and replaced with a straight piece of pipe.

I'd recommend doing this so that if you do not like it, you can put your original catback back on the car.

i got this done on the weekend mate!
it does make it slightly louder, but nothing too ridiculous.
give the car a nice rumble on idle though!
no bad droning on the hight either.
this was on a mk3 vr6 so i cant see a gti being much worse.
