VW Tuners in Sydney

Hi,

Looking for advice and reccommendations for VW tuners in Sydney. Doing research on buying a Sircocco or Golf R and trying to get an idea of who does good work or has a good rep in Sydney for all round tuning work.

Don't have much experience with VW performance stuff, an ex Subaru man. Ideally looking for an outlet that understands engine, brakes and suspension as a package.... and does good install.

Would love to hear any suggestions, tips and what not to do.

You will have three workshops in particular recommended to you. They have many customers with modified VW vehicles and have good reputations.

1) Exoticars at Parramatta (also a GIAC dealer)
2) VW Village in Kensington (also a Revo ECU dealer)
3) BWA Auto in Seven Hills (custom tunes)

Another Exoticar's fan .. wouldnt let anyone else touch my car. Im incredibly picky about service/quality and workmanship more than anything... overall though, they are top guys there and incredibly friendly as well and helpful. True VW/Audi specialists, not "suddenly we now do vw's" as a lot are now.

Being a Subaru fan you would have heard of Paul from Pulse Racing. Former head tuner from a few years ago at MRT

I have worked with Paul in the past and he does some great work. I will be taking the Tiguan to him for a tune when the time comes

Given Paul's track record on building cars why would you look anywhere else for suspension work.

I think his EVO race car speaks loads for his ability to build a tough car. And when i say car, i mean the entire car,not just one aspect of it

Ive been to both European Autotech and Exoticars... Suffice to say i wouldnt recommend european autotech to anyone. I know 4 people now who have had bad experiences there with a lack of care for their vehicles and would not go back.

thats a shame, derek has always treated me right.
what exactly didnt they do? or were there expectations not met?
