How much ? Anywhere between $150 for some ebay chips Ive seen to $5k+ for a stand alone unit .

What will it do , on a VR6 engine , well , not much , maybe 5kw at the most .

But you fail to understand my previous post , it adapts much better to mods than a stock chip , and sometimes you cant do certain mods without a chip due to the extra fueling required with bigger injectors . A chip is usually the first mod people do , then intake and exhaust . So you need to choose a chip that will suit what level of modification you will do in the future .

    Is that clear enough?

dude seriously go stand alone engine management but make sure you keep your stock ecu, haltech are pretty good i have prehistoric microtech in my vr6 and made 118kw last run all it has is ecu, bigger injectors, exhaust, pod airfilter, thicker leads, beru 4 prong plugs..

its really hard to get power out of a vr id really save my money and look at replacing stock internals with forged components to either supercharge or turbo charge it then you see power
