Hi, I'm back. Yep, that is the 4motion rear lower section. Genuine part. You need to trim a very small sectionof the body to fit it. Nothing major and takes about 5 minutes
first i must apoligise for the thread digging haha
now that i got that out of the way, is that lower section a genuine VW part?
how much roughly are they?

You can get 600hp + from the 1.8t. Just depends on how much you want to spend. Under about 7-8 grand your looking at 300-350hp with a larger k04 or a garrett turbo. Its realy not cheap. But spending 1/2 of the car's value on engine work is a bit silly in my opinion, but anything can be done with enough money.
That exhaust is looking good, grab your camera put it under your car and post it on you tube i'm sure we'd all like to hear it's marvellous sound!
The R32 is a lot different. For a start, it has 2 exhaust outlets. The 4 motion panel is easily obtainable from a VW dealer. I think the cost was around $170?? Its a while ago now so I cant really remember. If you need I can look up the part number and what it cost.
Cheers, Andrew
