  • Build your own VR6

Now before you tell me to just go buy a VR6, hear me out.

For a total spend of $550 so far, I have acquired the following parts to build myself a neat Mk3:

Complete 96 5 door Golf GL with excellent paint and tinted wondows.

Golf VR6 plus suspension, brakes, driveshafts, fuel pump, cluster with stalk, exhaust.

    Complete 95 B4 Passat GL VR6 5 speed.

Other than a VR6 Radiator and MFA cluster loom (im not sure if the passat one will work in a golf) I cant think of anything more i need to assemble a Mk3 golf VR6???

Drive the passat. They are uncommon and cool as hell.

I vote for the Passat too.

They are very underated but just add big wheels and some lows to transform into something special.

I don't want to drive a fridge white, rusted, dented Passat with a blue velour interior.
i have a pile of nice Golf parts here that would go to waste also.
              Meanwhile, back to my question.....
