That TDC crank indicator is awesome, don't suppose you want to make another lol. Have you thought of going coil packs and ignitors for your spark run by a crank trigger wheel so you can remove the dizzy? (thats what i'm doing) or even rig up a trigger off the dizzy drive (not hard) then you can junk the dizzy and get that space back. The INA kit looks super smooth and made for your car, you did a great job slimming it down hey. On another note i see you have Ashley headers (correct me if i'm wrong), how does the clearance look for the steering boot on the RHD cars?

Keep it up mate, at this rate you'll be getting noise in weeks the hardest part now must be paint hey?
Cheers, Luke! I'm pretty happy with it.

The INA alternator kit would have to be right up there with my favorite bits of kit for this engine.. It has taken all the BS out of something I thought was going to be a PITA..

I'd rather not go to crank trigger or anything like that at this stage.. I want to keep things simple.. Seems like the 90 degree cap will be the go. My old man suggested it and so did Timmy B..

Yes they are Ashley headers. Not sure about clearance yet.. I haven't bolted them up. I'll let you know when I do, though.

EDIT: I forgot to add about cam timing.. I've set it to 0 as far as overall timing and the overlap is at 0 as far as the standard 0-0 positioning. So it's 100% straight off the cam card.

I'v seen some people just run two ports off the MC into some T pieces behind/under the booster., that could be one solution. Or just test Tim out and see how good he is at making brake lines!

Are you going to leave the Gbox in that finish? I can't help but think that some wheel silver might look better? :/
    Thanks, man.

We'll work something out for the brake lines..

The gearbox will be satin black when i'm finished.. But I have to split it yet and fit the diff bolts etc. I won't paint it 'till i'm ready to put it back in..

        • About clearance for the Ashley headers..

I gave them a quick test fit today.. I can actually easily fit them downfrom the top which is nice to know..

They have about 25-30mm clearance to the rack boot.. Looks like I might get them coated or wrap them....
