Boy id be *quite* keen on doing that some day! Lookin good there wade! love the old green rocket half way through too
Dude its so easy to enter. Dont think that you need to be an expert either. there's plenty of people there who couldn't drive a thumbtack into a pinboard, and always a few old bombs. You wont have anything to be worried about as long as you build up to your limits gradually.
Midvale is quite fun, been up there once. My only complaint was when they run so many cars it takes forever to get through each circuit when they change the layouts around.
I flicked through that video straight to the points you indicated, I still can't get over how much turbo noise you have!!! Love it mine must be masked by the louder exhaust as I never hear that much induction etc!
Haha. Yea. It's all about the K04! There's more vids up now by GEMWRC on youtube.
I was going thru some old videos just tonight of when me and Grant first fired it up and guess what!?? TODAY is the one year anniversary!
Such a coincidence.

haha awesome! I've got a KO4 too so I can only guess it must be the exhaust noise which muffles the turbo sound cos it's not THAT loud
Overdue for an update.
Been doing lots of little jobs & maintainence but no time to uptade the thread sorry.
I recently swapped out the standard injectors for some bigger items.
I'm getting it back on the dyno and remapped next week so I can finally run more boost without the pesky cutout that happens when the injector duty cycle maxes out at 100% and cant supply the right fuel for the boost surge.
It was worse on cold days due to the air density i guess??
Power is estimated to go from 250hp at the wheels to around 280hp... Could go further but i'd like the engine to last!
The old injectors actually went in a Triumph V8 and were a direct fit upgrade for it!!!

The old one was cracked and rattly. I got the new one from the very low k's one a friend and I got at the auctions. It's pretty awesome and feels like a new car again!!
Had a busted harness clip so scabbed one from the old dash. Was cool learning that they all are so easy to remove and replaceable. They thought of everything when they designed these things!!
The claw bit just slides out of the backing..
All fixed!
Nearly there, complete with original cassette goodness.
There's more pics coming of the completed job.
