Manual Boost Controllers
So is this the basic $100 or the posh $300 one? I was trying not to tell you off but dude this is 2012 and turbo control has moved on since they first came out. Back in 1985, bleed valves were all the rage on Ford RS Turbos and Renault 5 Turbos. When I was a kid
Audi and VW spent more than a few dollars setting these up and I'll admit the AGU is far from the most sophisticated motor out there but a flash is by far the best way to make them go better and stay together.
I know you have access to this stuff cheap through work but you gotta lay off it

Put the N75 back and sell the shiney stuff, then email me. Do it properly, you have spent lots of time getting the engine in, be a shame for it to give up on you.

Lol rehab
I've gotten so used to the power thoughit lights the front wheels up at 60kmh in second gear..
I'm saving to buy a gizmo electronic boost controller instead of the manual one..
Also I've put Nulon 80,000km oil treatment in the engine oil which is the same as Slick50.. Puts a Teflon coating in the engine internals and the turbo. Also using special oil from Penrite that specific for the golf. listen to Gav mate. He's not talking Turkey when he tells you this stuff.
The 1.8t has been done to death with getting good power out of them, there is the correct way thats been proven to work and be reliable and there is they way that will end badly. Don't head down the second path any further than you haveVW: it aint just a car, its a way of life

I've noticed that its a little laggy to start off with but it's only a little but it feels like its got more pull when you put your foot down. We used the factory pipe in the wheel arch and just added to it. It's 2 1/2 inch to the intercooler then 2 inch out to the intake so that we didn't loose pressure.. Works a treat
