    Little bit of progress today

Ran the Fuel lines for the rear of the car... and bought a Brake flaring tool so I can adjust some of the lengths etc etc

Missing a few fittings for linking the brake hoses from the body to the rear beam will have to dig for those this week maybe....

Managed to get one of the rear calipers assembled.. really need to get a proper caliper compressing tool ended up slipping a couple of times and chipping the fresh powdercoat which pissed me off a little bit any who..

Rolled the body back on to Jack Stands and with the Help of some of the crew we re-hung the rear beam and the front Subframe...

With the rear beam in place I fitted the calipers and new pads so when the body is finally rolling again I can have a functional hand brake..

Also ironed out the orientation issues with the mounting of the Cox Swaybar.

    Cheers Coonsy and Glidn.

also Coonsy Fitted the Fuel pump which is a bonus too

Bit by bit the body is getting closer to rolling again

I think I will delay the Coilovers for now purchase and fit later...

Progress is progress none the less

Steps closer to everything else that lies ahead

Getting the Rust Fixed up this weekend which will be awesome to at least have a start on it being removed

Last night just toyed around with the Engine a little bit and spent most of the night moving the shell in to a more suitable place in the shed and also cleaning up the mess that has accrued over the last 2 months... (still have heaps to clear fml)

Pulled the intake mani and exhaust mani off and did a test fit with the Trubo!

Little bit confused about the best orientation for the turbo...

              First world problems eh...

Yeah time is all it is really,

I have tuesday evenings and Saturdays dedicated to this Job at the moment.. but I still feel the progress is lacking..

I am actually supposed to be having time off this project, but the snow season is terrible at the moment so going to the mountain has been a non option..

That said got over a big mental barrier this weekend... John was kind enough to come around to the Shack and Make swift of the Rust around my Windscreen area.. amazing what can be done in 4 and a half hours with skilled hands & the right tools..

I learnt a fair whack on the way thru also.. which was a big bonus

On another note bought another MK2 4 Door Auto just for fun (town hack for my bro) spent Thursday arvo getting it serviced Saturday morning sorting out coolant leaks.. and then Fizzy Did a Full Clay Cut and Polish on it just cos he is the man.. the car looks a million dollars now for a rickety old bucket of bolts thanks fizzy.. now to get it road certified again... 1.6 Carby Auto

Didn't come out too shabby did it, its nice to see things being done properly i'm a bit of a stickler for that.
Next job is to get that big lump in there and see what little room you have left for all the go fast goodies, still reckon it needs AWD
