Oops Forgot the Pics from Mounting the Shifter.
Here they are
DOES... NOT... FIT...
First Idea as to Make Shifter Box Fit..
no cigar.
Back to the Drawing Board Armed with a Hammer, an Angle grinder, a File, some Spray Paint and a Nutsert Gun
Little bit of Trimmy Trimmy Here and there,
Little bit of Tickling with a Hammer here and there.
add an additional Fixing point to the Rear of the Shifter Box..
& Voila MK4 02M Shifter Mech Now mounted Perfectly in a MK2
By this is the Way the Under-seal paint I used (it is the titz man)

Started the day by Cutting out the Rust around the Windscreen Frame and attempting to make some replacement panels out of panel steel but had a mare as all my Snips have gone missing and was having a crap work day in general so decided to attack more simpler tasks
and decided to give my DSLR some much needed exercise.. (forgot about the poor girl)
Arty Farty photo of my Work Area
Welded up a small hole and then cleaned up and primed the Tunnel and then later heavy Undersealed it
Also Took some arty fart photos of my freshly powder coated items
And started installing my New Powerflex Bushes in to the Rear beam and the front Cross Member.

I don't really have the time,
Im more or less fortunate to have the space available for me to use at work..
the only day I really get to work on it is saturdays and 3 hours on a Tuesday night
other then that I work generally 6 Days a week so there isn't much time available I have had to give up a few other bits and peices
to make this (start to) happen!
