Dom, I doubt they will list it as a unrepairable write off, the pinchweld seam is still straight as mate,( indicates the damage is only to the outer sill i have them here aftermarket ) If the insurance co deems it uneconomical to repair then buy the car back and have it fixed.

I have the door, new sill section and used but salvageable left rear quarter. You can tell the insurance Co, panel guy whatever but the metal is here to fix her. Only issue I can see is if the inside of the B pillar is bent inwards, I no longer have the internal section, only the external skin. Fingers crossed mate, Keep us in the loop bud.

Any car written off in NSW from 31st January 2011 is declared a statutory write off and can only be used for parts or scrap.

Fingers crossed it's not written off.

At least you're alright and escaped without injury.

What you could do for me is look for the drivers side window chrome trim for me !!!???

OK have a LA car that is under salvage currently, LMK exactly which section of window trim your needing Dom.

Also anything else rocco specific your needing ?? Stuff will be shipped back with the next LHD rocco purchase sometime around January.

Assuming the door arrived ok seein I aint heard contrary ??

BUT If you are the last registered owner and have had it a while / or its a special car. You can apply with the RTA for a special exemption and it can then be permissable to repair.

Sorry Grant keep missing your posts and just assuming the thread is dead for a litttle while lol. theres been some good progress at the panel shop i am aiming to go down tomorrow and get some snaps so hopefully watch this space.

and to ad to the depression more good parts have arrived whilst its been away lol. hopefully reviving this slowly from now!

This workshop came very highly recommended and now I can see why. There is no filler in this and the lines look impeccable!

I have to call the guy to discuss our plans for the rest of the car but it was good just to see it again. I got a sneaky snap of the rear floor as suspected it looks immaculate!
