  • Definitely lunch time.

Need another ABS module - the one I have is no good (ABS is getting no response from controller). Might need to fork out the $$$ for a new one, dreading the price once I find out.

All good - ABS/ESP module is all good.
Whoever at VW that decided the heated seats and ABS should both be the same coloured wires are geniuses... - I hadn't connected the 'heated seats' yet but turns out I didn't connect the ABS instead.

Had Josh help bleed the brakes & clutch today.

        - I need to get a different version of the passenger side power steering line - auto version must be different as there's no way it will reach unless you start bending the pipes
        - Missing a few coolant lines, might need to do a Frankenstein and get some random sizes/bends from supercheap/repco/autobarn
        - Missing the plastic tube that runs from rocker cover to intake boot
        - Still need to repair 1 rear parker
        - Interior is still in pieces - need to make a plate for my dbw accelerator as the firewall is different on RHD DBC/DBW cars.

                • The car is running, took it for a 5 hour drive today, good fun!

Planting foot in 1st just spins the wheels instantly, 2nd still gets a little happy.
Car feels planted, rigid and responsive. There's barely any understeer (even in the wet I was surprised at how well it performed) - but I will still get the 28mm adjustable RSB.

Got some suspension knocks @ the front right corner, will pull the wheel off tomorrow to inspect.

So, that's it - just need to organize an exhaust ASAP that doesn't sit on the rear beam
