thanks I jump about a lot doing bits on one car then another, might as well keep it all in one place

my mk2.... bought it at the start of the year as a 'works'run-a-bout(ive got a 70mile+commute)

its a 1.6 carb automatic, manual choke proper poverty spec....I love it <3 drives like a mini rolls royce and just makes me smile every day

I was under strict instructions not to ruin it by lowering it or putting stupid wheels on it....

      got some second hand coils

      cleaned them up

      prepped them

      painted

      built

fitted them and a set of repowdercoated sebrings id had on the mk1

        let them settle

readjusted to level out and set for workloads

re-readjusted them, gave it a clean and fixed the grey bumpers

        settled

had a play about trial fitting a couple sets of wheels

rebuilt my OZ's with my rs lips

            tried them on as well

            :s

6 months of wheels and my dirty ass left its mark

              oz's with new 185/45x15s

washed and plastics given a go over

              interior finished(almost)

and the weekend consisted mainly off more wheel trials and attempted more lows

more lows failed as the coils are solid again and I cant be bothered pulling them off and freeing again but im thinking its time to either sell up(stupid thoughts of VR and widetrack)or go for new coils and lower paint to freshen then top off with the widetrack and engine

Ive got a few sets lol butthe corvette wheels and the audi wheels were a loan from friends to see what they would look like on.Still got a couple sets to tick off that I have!!! to own, really want a set of OZ turbos in matching lips to go with my executives but I mainly come across rare rims then end up keeping them

Resurrecting this a bit, cars currently running but about to go under the knife. Ive been sourcing parts most of last year for a 20vT conversion plus further upgraded parts than what is already on it and ill try and keep it updated as things move. I doubt if itll see any major road use afterwards though as its going to be almost solely for my local track.

blast from the past but still collecting bits....gone for the inevitable berg kit for width, perspex windows are here, hole saws are being collected and cds tube is accumulating. Next on the to get list are engine vagaries from the US now ive caught up with my mortgage and decided to just lip up the executives and run them till something else turns up
