add me to the list of people who are loving your work, Alex. Everything you do looks so neat and you take great photos along the way too which is always a huge plus. I'd love to use both your builds (A3+MK1) one day for a feature on the blog if that's cool with you?

thanks guys
would be happy for you to use anything you wish
rebuilt the coolant junction today as there were a few pin hole leaks(only noticable under a pressurized system)i used a cheaper stock bar for the body , it has quite a few impurities in it , and we all know dirty alloy doesnt weld nice, replaced the body with some 6061 and all smooth from there in.

6061 is pure bliss when it comes to machining. I have heard that it doesn't weld that nice though?? How was it?

had enough of the single mirror (and with the new wheels on the way i really need to be able to see gutters a little better to aid parking)so i fitted the other dtm to the passengers side, which was a little pain as i had blanked out the mount for the delete. a little stubbier than the driverside .they turned out fairly clean for a cheaps set, altough i did basically rebuild them.
and have some more bits n pieces on the cooker in the engine bay
keep zee eyes peeled

had the 2 9" wheel centres and the barrels machined , then redrilled the barrel to suit, finally had a proper test fit, bolted up and weight on, and some of the suspisions i had were true.
the original plan of 9's on the back and 8's on the front went out the window
9's on the back with 25mm spacers just need to source some 4"lips to bump the rear up to 10's and loose the spacers, and the 9's work a treat on the front.
had half gold and half chrome bolts so ordered 200 stainless cup head bolt and flange nuts to suit, now just need to decide on a color for paint,oh and find some 10's
a little close on the holes , could only rotate it a little around as the valve comes through from the back of the barrel

GOLD is at the top of the list
can thank lm's for the inspiration(and my rs's), it should pop nicely against the blue
the joy of these is they can be taken apart and repainted without loosing the tyres
