Lol what happened to ur promise!! Are u gonnainstall a fmic anytime soon? That's prob my first agenda on the s3 seeing as I've got an idea of the exact parts I need.
Pity the silicon hoses aren't as available as urs, i'm not looking forward to paying $200+ for a single silicon hose!!!
Anchor the electrical box that you removed from the airbox to the chassis mate. Its got a heatsink on the bottom, its best if that goes onto a bit of the chassis that has no paint on it.
Intake pipe looks neat. Dont chuck the standard airbox away, i'll buy it back one day
So much for the most standard 1.8T mate. You cant help yourself can you??
Looks sweet though.
I have some coilovers if you wanna go that route
My Mrs Binned the A4 on Friday, so there might be a new Audi in our house soon too.
Keep enjying the beast, it looks clean as...

there is one boost pipe that doesnt fit the a3 however, the exit from the turbo to the pancake pipe
nice a3 mate, looks like its in a very good condition
i had the same leftover pipe, at first i though the k04 had a bigger outlet but it didn't fit the k03 either, unless its meant for something else
found where the missing pipe went, only found it when i removed all the heat sheild covers off the outlet and inlet and so on.
made a billet alloy blank for the rear wiper, i will be offering more of these they can be finished in polished or painted black(or any other color??), full bolt in security, fastened from the inside

hey alex, i just noticed your plugs say 0.4mm, i don't think thats the correct gap for our engines.
I changed my plugs the other day, i gapped them to 0.7mm or 0.028" which is recommended for chipped cars, also 1 heat range colder (i use ngk bkr7e)
the .4mm is in reference to the Ultra-fine .4mm electrode, the plugs come gapped at .032/.8 in/mm so i set them to the desired as stated .028/.7, they are great plugs and the slight hesitation and small dull spot i had here and there has gone.
i noticed a downpipe query in the polo section and followed the link to an ebay auction, having planned to build one myself,i decided to take the plunge and at worst could use the flange and flex from it(as a flange and flex pipe where adding up to 3/4 of the price of this finished unit)
it landed today some 4 days after ordering (from stateside)and its some of the nicest welding and construction i have seen for a while, even came complete with gaskets and bolts.super impressed
i let the pictures do the talking
now just gotta decide how much of the exhaust i am going to leave on.
