Hey Dom,
you'll love your wagon, they're a great cruiser.
I own an Australian delivered Wagon, a white '91 auto.
VW officially imported 14 B3's into Australia, 5 wagons, before deceiding that they were too expensive, at $40,490. + on road costs.
Where are the other wagons/ sedans now? I know a few sedans have been wrecked for the 16v motor.
I'd love to convert mine to a 5 speed manual, if anyone knows where there is a manual B3 in a wrecking yard, I'd like to know.

I think bags can be engineered if they cannot be controlled while driving, and that the lowest height is still above the legal requirement of 100mm. Pretty sure I read about a chev in Street Machine that had a setup like that and it was legal...
...stuff that!

it shouldn't be too hard to engineer, given that the air ride is direct replacement for standard struts. It's not as if you've had to modify (cut and weld) bits and pieces to put it together.

You'd be very surprised chief how hard it is to engineer something like this & its not a cheap process either!Originally posted by Jarred View Postit shouldn't be too hard to engineer, given that the air ride is direct replacement for standard struts. As soon as you drill into the floor pan for anything, it has to be inspected!
& that means just mounting the air tank!

this is true, cant mount anything without getting it assessed, bolt in stuff thats ok (still needs to be approved to OZ standards) but anything i need to screw into the body needs to be checked and cleared

untill i hit the switches hahaha!
