anyway ....back to my car.
options as of now is... another 2door mk1 that has appeared
or the orig plan of 16v into the mk2 and the 2E into Helga on twin carbs...
...still alitle work to do on my GTiR to get it ready to sell and then things will start to move.....literaly... .....
Antdragonist and I will be going on a trip to check out the other mk1 very soon.
PS....just to clarify, i was not having a kiddy fit...the fact was i was told the orange car was there for me to take...
I said i was posting my mk1 for sale...that was fine, but the fact of the matter is if i had sold Helga on the weekend
i would not have had a MK1 at all....I just like to be told where people stand, and i understand that sometimes doesnt happen.....
but there is other factors i will not enter into on a public forum. . . . . . all said and done.
time to move on. lol

What would we do if it wasn't for our imagination Benny, I reckon your original plans for Helga and the Mk2 are a pretty realistic starting point! Move that GTiR on and get cracking
hehe, thanks fellas!
Yea i think the 16v plan in the mk2 and the 2e in the mk1 will be how things will go this year. Id love a turbo donk in the mk2 for shure, or even the mk1 for that matter!!!. but my plan is basicly to make the mk1 a bit of a fun track car, just the basics, some good suspension, a bit more go and a huge grin .
though it also saddens me using the mk2 as a daily driver again...poor ol' girl needs a rest. Just have to work out in what order the events will take place in my garage....but yess, the gtir has to go, as fun as it is and its bang per buck scale is very high. but imagine that money spent on the mk2 .....
argh, i give myself headaches

so do i, i've been walking to work lately and have time to dream of mods for my mk2, it's not advised i get way to many in the 15 minute walk. But i am working out a list of stuff i want to do during the 16v conversion, when it comes
76 MkI 3 door - daily drive/project - 1.8 5speed
76 MkI 3 door swallowtail - 16v track car
76 MkI 3 door "long term" project
