I started basically start of the year. missed 2 weeks cause of the tennis & being away. It's generally been about ave 4-5 hours a day I reckon. But then again, I'm not counting! It's taken longer than I wanted, but I'm getting there.
I used a premixed primer other day [and trusted it] it turned out to be much too thick, hence sprayed really rough, which means lotsa wetsanding! yay.
I'm half way through the wetsanding & then everything with need another coat [which hopefully will go on much smoother] & then the final wetsand before it's ready for colour.
Pics.
Wetsanding always brings out the hidden sins. Bonnet turned out to be not quite as straight as I thought.
Also mocked up the taillights and rear bumper to check the repairs on the back qtr. Nearly done - but it'll never be perfect! As long as it doesn't look bad, that's ok with me.
