I guess there's a reason you can't buy Arc Welding goggles in the shops anymore.

    Pete
Can I use them as driving goggles please?

update, with yesterday and todays work.

finished off all the welding. and already laying bog and the smoothing continues!

          pics speak for them selves.

oh, and don't mind the pop corn!

          straight... nice...

This is all the trouble I went through with the roof. all the bare metal spots are/were rust spots (from bird poo etc} not high spots... infact, now, they're low spots! nothing a bit of feathering and highfill wont fix.

yep. still white. got the paint sitting in the garage.

havn't got any wheels yet. but I've got a few ideas. hopefully it'll be pretty baller. lil bit of stretch but nothing too crazy.

all that'll come after it's reg'd & running reliably and everything.

So it turns out that I go back to Uni first week of March!

I was hoping to have this done by then - alas not to be. At this rate I'll be lucky to have some primer down by end of next week.

Looks like I better get a moooove on. Bugger.

EDIT: Good news is, I am making progress. 3 out of 10 of the main body work areas [filler] are done, and all the others are close. Rest of the body & hanging panels are pretty much at final prep stage, then they'll be good to prime.
