He will have to start from the pit lane. My guess is he will run heavy and work his way up. Seeing how good Vettel was he should work his way up, long shot at getting points though.

Well that's it kids F1 has ended according to Mika. No more races, no more drivers, no more tracks, no more rule changes. Nothing left to discuss at all.
Cheers,
Trent
Well I must say I enjoyed the race greatly. I found Singapore last week quite a boring race but seeing the drivers in action on a classic track is very entertaining.
Good stuff.

Good chance Kimi will be back at McLaren.
In a battle for out and out pace Kimi is the fastest guy bar none. However he is not the complete racer.
In my opinion since Schumi left Alonso has been and still is the best racer out there. His pace is good, he can put in consistent laps, he is good technically and he can develop a car.
Both Hamilton and Kimi fall down on many of these points (Kimi especially).
McLaren and Ferrari have both struggled with car development in recent times. With McLaren only just starting to recover now from poor/slow development since about mid last year.
The reason the McLaren was so dominant for the better part of last year was due to the development influence the year before from Alonso. Hamilton may get better as his career progresses and he gets more experience but Kimi just seems to have never been really interested or able to give good feedback.
My 2c on a number of things but yeah. It's a shame proper testing isn't allowed anymore.
Cheers,
Trent
maybe you should try talking to M Whitmarsh.
Kimi gives good feedback and is very sensitive to the slightest changes.
So what if his a man of few words? Those few words are far more valuable than gibberish feedback given by most F1 drivers' and former champions out there.
Renault started on the 09 car far before Mclaren and Ferrari.
If Alonso is such a great car designer/builder (god... I hate how ppl exaggerate development), why are they even behind Mclaren and Ferrari?

There are probably 1000 reasons for that... all of them speculation. Who cares. Kimi says little because he hates the media, something he has mentioned several times. He's probably the most talkative driver of the lot behind closed doors for all we know.
For all those that forgot what time the race was on (like me), it's replayed tomorrow night on ONE HD @ 7.20pm (MELB & SYD).
or check this guide for your city: http://ten.com.au/hdtvguide_search.htm

I'm talking about communication to his engineers and within the team.
Honestly, who the **** cares about the media?
The only thing you need to be good with the media is handling controversy and keeping a conservative stance. Ie, don't be a Damon Hill in his Williams days!

Just finished watching the replay of Button Watch..sorry the Grand Prix.
Awesome track..just a pity about the biased commentary. Almost as bad as watching the NRL GF with the Parra bias! Sterlo was the only one who should have real bias but he was the best out of them...Gus Gould is a shocker!!!
Exciting finish...quick question though.. Shouldn't the Renault backmarker have been pushed through past the safety car to join at the back?
Cheers,
Jayse.

I agree 100% about the commentary.
I also wondered the same thing with the Renault. I thought it was standard practice to let the backmarker in the front group through so they don't interfere with the racing. *shrug*
