If it wasn't for the safety cars he would have been about 40 seconds in front, so a completely dominant race once again.
Not bad at all when the lap times were only ~1m16s or so (only dipping into the 1:15s late as they lightened up due to fuel loads).
You'd really have to say that this was a dominant performance by Webber. RBR also have another upgraded chassis due this year, hopefully it'll suit Webber's driving as much as the current one does.
RBR are getting a big upgrade for Turkey, that has to be rather ominous for the other teams, if they can do well on high speed courses and on slow tracks like monaco you would be getting very worried.

Do you think it has anything to do with what they were talking about in the commentary about Massa looking to join Red Bull next year?
Cheers,
Jayse.
I doubt very much that red bull would want Massa. I really dont think he's nearly as complete a driver as Webber. He has his good times, but mentally he's too frail and hasn't REALLY made the most out of ferrari imo.

Watched the whole thing start to finish. What a performance by Webber, complete dominance all weekend.
Apart from Webber winning my next favourite thing was DiGrassi refusing to just let Alonso pass good show of balls by him loved every second of it. Hoped trulli would do much of the same but apparently not.
Upgrades from RBR for turkey should be very interesting.
The massa to redbull is to do with the latest rumor that Webber is off to Ferrari next year. The story goes that Alonso wants him there and he is out of contract at the end of the year, so a quick swap and everyone is happy... apart from Kubica who is also linked to Ferrari...
This really is great news i reckon. I just hope they supply engines to a major player for a few years, rather than jump straight into running their own team. I'd hate to see a Vag team fighting it out with Hispania or Virgin Racing atthe rear of the grid...
I've been a bit ****ty that BMW left to be honest. I thought it was a bit soft that they only ran their own team for a few years.
Beemer had too higher hopes to really achieve well in F1. It takes more then a few years to get a team sorted, find the right drivers and start winning consistently. They pulled the pin far too early.
F1 practice today in Turkey. Nothing much to report from what I've read. Looking forward to quali and the race
