Which worries me, because if the Castrol made VW506.01 oil was causing some damage to R5 engines (and VW Australia was ordered by VW Germany to start buying 506.01 oil from European market), I was planning to keep my T5 for another 5 years or more. I hope that I’m wrong about AU made 506.01 oil qualities.Performance Tunes from $850Wrecking RS OCTAVIA 2 Link

I still have enough oil for 1 oil change in my T5. If I use it or not would depend from what was the reason for change of oil manufacturer by VW Australia.
I didn't take picture of the new oil container. A new oil had VW Long Life 2 506.01 on it and no Castrol sign or logo.Performance Tunes from $850Wrecking RS OCTAVIA 2 Link
