VW white spray touch up cans

Has anyone found any spray cans with a white close to VW White for the Transporter?

I've got a few Fiammia Aluminium fibreglass mounts i have to paint to match the roof before i fit the Black Fiammia Awning.

I'll be etch priming it, it doesn't need to be the best match as most of it will be hidden, just want little consistently when looking at it, as there will be be places that are visible

Don't want it to look half assed.

Go to Autobarn with the paint code and they will do a can for you for about $25

If you want an exact match you can use a spray can of 'Color Spec' from Supercheap Auto ... just give them paint code and they mix it for you while you wait!

I tried Supercheap Auto yesterday.

They seriously need to employ some adults, i asked about the custom colours cans, all they could do was a can of premixed whites.

They seemed quite confused..

I've got a Autobarn near my workshop ill see if i can drop in today and see what they can do.

Anyone know the paint code for an late model VW white?

I Found the Paint Code, it should be LB9A

I tried Auto barn for my son,s T4 a few years back and they could not do a match from the colour code etc , so I managed to buy a one litre can off the shelf and it matched perfectly it was a generic VW white .

well i tried the autobahn paint mixed to the paint code.

Not a great match after three coats, rang up to see if they mixed it right, they told me to go to another place for a better mix

its only for awning brackets, so most of it will be covered, would have been better and cheaper just to grab a white of the shelf.

id really wish these big companies would learn to train there employees or at least employ competent staff

Just on the VW paint.........it's top stuff.
Mine cops heaps of abuse and comes up well after a wash and I rarely have to polish it.
The Wife's Astra looked like crap after not long with the clear coat on it.
After any panel shop touched the Astra it just got worse.
At least the straight white is hard to stuff up.
That said, the panel shops' paint doesn't stand up as well as the original paint.

Not only them I got some paint mixed at a reputable paint shop to do facings on my house Got home and it was supposed to be like Air Force blue and came out nearly black. Took it back and growled, he said its correct. I made him paint a bit of timber and put it against the sample card.

Boss came out Whats the problem Took one look and said to the guy Do it again and use the correct base this time.

Made a a marvelous difference
