Since I have started putting the car in the garage I decided that starting to car to reverse it out only to stop it to lock the garage then restart it wasn't really good for the battery...
I looked at a little clippy thing so I could pull the keys apart and clip them back together, but that wasn't nearly exciting enough
So a few dynabolts to move a hinge, re-routing some power and the old garage door was... well:
But then I had a remote floating round the car, so I got a keyfob remote, but thats a little big in the pocket with all the keys (and the plans for less keys) so I have re-wired one of the remotes into 'the button' and mounted the whole thing under the dash. Seems to work quite well.
If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.
