  • Tyre shine...high gloss or satin?

    Looking at some different tyre shine gels for the next purchase of cleaning products....whats more popular visually.....high gloss or just a satin look?? VDUB....

    high gloss for me!
    Current - 2015 Tiguan 155 R-Line.
    Previous - Jetta MkV 147 Turbo, Viezu Raceday mapped, Carbonio CAI, Quad Exhaust System, R8 Coil pack, Whiteline Swaybar, GTi Steering wheel with paddles, Alloy pedals, RNS510 & Leather.

      I like satin.

      Spray & Wipe gives a great finish but doesn't last very long (1 week). Try it, you'll be shocked at how good it looks.

        Im only looking at wipe on gel. More control and less splatter!

            Comes down to personal taste, don't let us tell you what you should like.

            I also am a satin fan though. Use 303 or 1Z rubber stuff normally

              Although I'd say the majority of other peoples car's I do go for the high shine when I ask which they'd prefer

                  The autoglym tyre dressing product is simply awesome and can be used to get either gloss or natural finish - whatever you prefer

                  For the the main thing is not to end up with a greasy residue on the tyre
                  Nightmare for handling tyres and it makes a mess in the car when transporting them
