Does anyone have a suggestion for cleaning nail polish off leather seats?

The vehicle user manual will have a suggestion for how to clean the upholstery with various kinds of contaminants.
You can use acetone to remove nail polish, but I dont think it would be good for the leather.
Nail polish remover can be less harsh than acetone but I have no idea what it would do to the seats (its acetone based but has other things in it).
Either way I think the car user manual would advise against either of the things i just suggested

Unfortunate truth is that it may be stuck there forever. DO not use acetone on the seats as you can damage and also remove the dye.Originally posted by AJD View Post
Non-acetone nail polish remover is probably the best to use, with a cotton bud or even paper towel and dab very very lightly. Small applications of removal is safest as you can see what may happen.
Best you condition the seats afterwards as well with something such as Duragloss Leather Conditioner!Car Care Products Australia

AJD: Iv'e had some success removing all sorts of stuff from car seats using Eucalytus oil (the real stuff, not the pretend kind). As others have advised, care needs to be taken not to cause a bigger problem. I would dab a bit on the leather somewhere where it doesn't matter if it lifts the colour.
