Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Full car vinyl

I'm looking into someone in or around Sydney that does full car vinyl ... Like a full colour change

    Recommendations appreciated.

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

+1 for carbon demons, seen some of their cars in the flesh and they look amazing.

Very nice, mind me asking what sort of $$ it ended up costing?

Carbon demon are good, but hideously expensive. One of my mates is learning to do this at the moment but he's far from being able to do a whole car.

                Also, try Jason at Home
I'm not sure about their pricing but I've seen a Lexus RX330 they did and it is perfect!

You get what you pay for - I had my roof wrapped by carbon demons to fix up the mistake of another company.

I showed my bf the workmanship of that said company and I was sent marching back to demand a refund and to remove the vinyl. It had scratches all the way through the vinyl like they had smoothed it out with a scouring sponge. Edges were ragged and not even straight :/

Comparing it to Carbon Demons quality of work was like chalk n cheese.. You def get your money's worth with their work quality

PM me if you want the name of the other company..
