  • Spot cleaning fabric seats?

So today on the way to work i ate a red-tipped eco banana. In my rush i forgot to throw away the peel and left it on the passenger seat. Unfortunately the red plastic tip has melted into my seat like an icecream!

Any advice for spot cleaning the fabric of the seats in a GTI? Is there any particular product we may prefer?

    Thanks!

You can try this from 303.

Otherwise you made need to shampoo the seats with hot water to remove it.

Clothes washing liquid (make sure its liquid - not powder) and warm water + a terry towel cloth.

The red is actually wax, so will probably have to be physically picked out , then perhaps get it warm again, and put a paper towel on it to let the hopefully near liquid wax wick into the paper towel!! Hope this helps!
