    A car manufacturer paints the car using robots.

    Polishing doesn't protect a car - it makes it shiney, and bare and unprotected.
    I think that the OP was attempting to remove "waxes" which were contaminents, not car protection products. But that's my guess.

      very well said corey and info provided by him.

      I have to mention a few washes that are mentioned are 'cost effective' without names to be mentioned are very strong washes and are not pH Neutral.

      By using a non pH Neutral and as being quite a strong wash it will remove any product of your car as well.

      I would suggest in grabbing some pH Neutral Wash, anything we have in the range of car wash shampoo's are pH Neutral and will not strip any sealants and waxes or damage / leave marks on paint. Some washes tend to also leave water spotting as well which is common for certain products.
