If you like a clean matte finish, it's brilliant. I really don't like my tyres to look like somebody has smeared vaseline all over them.

Give it a whirl. If you don't like it, it washes off straight away.

PERL by carpro seems to be working pretty damn well on my mom's megane - it's been pissing down in melbourne lately and the tyres still look nice and shiny. MUCH better than the finish kare stuff - it's good value to use when the weather is nice, but after one day of rain, my tyres actually look milky. so it'll be PERL for me from now on - especially given that it does all trim, leather (diluted) etc etc.

I've used a few things but never spent any real money on tyre shine (cant see the point, I drive 130km/day).

I find that the supercheap one lasts about 4 weeks if its dry and 1-2 weeks if its rainy. Also, I like it because it takes me 30 seconds to do the 4 tyres and I can do it if they are still wet. (I'm really quite lazy).

Sometimes, feeling incredibly lazy, I also use it to dress up the black plastic lower valance on the cabriolet.
