I've just given my ol' hood a scrub and spray today with Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber Treatment, which has come up a treat...I'd previously only used MacGuires Vinyl and Rubber Conditioner(this was seriously one of the best products around for many years), but this seems to have gone off the market, and the bottles I brought back from Dubai are now finally empty.....

G'day guys. I've bought some of the 303 and it seems like a good product. When do you apply it? Before a wash or after? If after, do you apply it to an applicator then the top so that there is no overspray?

Definitely apply it after you've washed and dried the vinyl, as there's no use protecting it when it's dirty! 303 is a protectant and doesn't have any cleaning properties.
I'd say using an applicator pad would be a better option, although spraying on and wiping over with a microfibre cloth will still be alright. Spray toward an area where overspray isn't an issue and work it to the edges.

Thanks for that. The book says to just brush it over whilst dry. I sprayed the 303 on then rubbed it to get an even coverage. Might try it with an applicator/rag next time.
